I chose this photo because Henri Bresson was known for "The Decision Moment." When I started my internship at Doug Edmunds Studios he told me to look up Henri's photos . Doug stated "that the only way to learn photography is to look back to the beginning photographers." As I was looking through Henri's photos this one instantly caught my eye. Henri had caught the exact moment that the child was looking straight at the camera .When you look at the picture you are drawn towards the child's eye. When you stare into his eye you can see his hunger and pain. From one small eye it gives such a deep intense feeling. This is what a photograph should do when you look at it , it should make you feel emotion . And my goal is to make people "feel" when they see my pictures.
