Constellations, ACG, 2011
This is a photograph I took of my sister early this year. This photo was on the first roll of film that I developed by myself, and this was sort of a "test shot." I had been going through sort of a hard time; but I noticed that the dust on the blanket she's holding look like stars, which I find to be very peaceful and hopeful. So I have interpreted that she has just taken the sky and wrapped it around her to keep the bad things out.

Absolutely love it. I would have thought it impossible to pull such a heartening idea and fascinating image from the dust of a blanket. Simultaneously imparts a feeling of tranquil security and questions the value of proper housekeeping.
still a favorite :)
this is just so incredibly powerful. love it
